As a Store Manager in Training at Rent-A-Center, you will provide underserved customers access to high-quality goods that enhance their quality of life. This role involves meaningful work that makes a difference in our customers' lives. You will be responsible for setting daily and weekly sales goals, overseeing sales activities, managing account collections, and providing leadership and training to coworkers. You will also ensure compliance with company policies, manage store resources effectively, and resolve customer complaints quickly.

  • Set daily and weekly goals related to the store's sales activities.
  • Oversee and direct coworkers' sales activities.
  • Approve rental agreements and monitor planned results for sales.
  • Manage direct coworker's collection activities and follow up on accounts requiring manager interventions.
  • Provide leadership and training to ensure compliance with established procedures for collections.
  • Monitor and achieve planned results for profits by managing store resources.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and protect company assets.
  • Oversee inventory, product ordering, pricing, cash handling, and store security.
  • Resolve problems and complaints quickly.
  • Provide effective training and development for all coworkers.
  • Schedule and organize daily activities and goals.
  • Staff, recruit, and hire for the assigned store.
  • Maximize retention of coworkers and reduce turnover.
  • 3 -- 5 years of retail/management experience.
  • Completion of RAC's Store Manager Development Program during training period.
  • Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications.
  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record.
