About The Position
The Manager In Training position is responsible for maintaining and operating a Company-owned retail facility in a safe, customer focused, and profitable manner. Support the Store Manager in daily operations, managing employees, and the store, especially when the manager is not in the store. This includes supervision and training of employees as well as managing sales and expenses to optimize results. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a positive, team-oriented, management style. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in retail sales required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Full understanding of competitive relationships and market drivers
- Strong merchandising skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in 7-Eleven is preferred.
- Experience in managing a retail sales location is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Managing the store in-regard to daily operations, employees, payroll, merchandizing, customer relations.
- Enforcing company and governmental rules, regulations, policies, and audits, to ensure compliance.
- Maintain good customer relations and resolve customer complaints, in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze daily sales and expense information and perform all financial analyses to maximize sales and profits.
- Safeguard and account for cash received and disbursed and be responsible for following banking requirements.
