About The Position

As a Store Manager at Lowe’s, you will be responsible for ensuring that all associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. Your role will involve monitoring the performance, profitability, and flow-through of store plans and programs, as well as championing and implementing strategic asset protection plans to improve safety and security outcomes. You will manage overall store operations, including expenses, merchandising standards, compliance, safety, security, and workforce management, to drive positive customer experiences, sales, and margin performance. Collaboration with cross-functional partners in HR, Asset Protection, and Operations at various levels will be essential to execute Lowe’s business strategy within your store. Additionally, you will build and support a store culture aligned with Lowe’s mission, engage and inspire employees, maintain a strategic view of store talent needs, recruit and develop talent, drive execution of sales and service strategies, analyze relevant data for store-specific strategies, and act as the Lowe’s brand ambassador in the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience leading associates in a large retail environment with Sales Volume exceeding 20M annually, or 5 years of experience leading associates in a large retail environment with Sales Volume exceeding 20M annually.
  • 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment.
  • Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience building partnerships within the community.
  • Experience analyzing and using customer, market, and competitor data to inform decisions and business planning.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience managing in big-box Home Improvement retail industry.
