About The Position

The Store Manager at LensCrafters is responsible for leading the store as a business owner, ensuring it is recognized as the premier optical provider in the community. This role focuses on driving sales and profitability, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high operational standards through effective team management and adherence to company policies.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 4+ years management/supervisory experience
  • Proven track record of delivering results and positive growth
  • Excellent business and financial acumen including operational analysis
  • Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators
  • Strong command of the English language for correspondence

Nice To Haves

  • College degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a leadership position within retail and customer service
  • Knowledge of basic optics
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise
  • State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states

  • Drive quality and improvement to meet/exceed all key performance indicators
  • Ensure LensCrafters is known as the leading optical provider within the community
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of retail business and transfer knowledge to achieve superior sales results
  • Exhibit strong business acumen for continual improvement and execution of Best Practices
  • Propose and execute business plans to maximize sales and profit, addressing root causes of issues
  • Lead a team in delivering unsurpassed Customer Experiences
  • Manage profits and expenses for the store
  • Establish clear expectations, train, coach, and develop team members
  • Recruit and select high caliber talent and create a talent pipeline for succession planning
  • Follow workforce management guidelines to optimally staff the store
  • Execute visual directives to maintain company messaging and standards
  • Lead Doctor of Optometry co-planning business meetings
  • Leverage insurance plans with local companies and attend local health fairs
  • Ensure compliance with Company and Host policies and procedures
  • Perform administrative duties including cash, payroll, and inventory management
  • Implement and maintain Company approved safety programs
  • Work weekends and evenings as needed to support business operations
