About The Position

The Store Leader at Altar'd State is responsible for leading and directing all store activities to achieve goals related to guest service, sales, human resources management, payroll, operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation. The role emphasizes creating a positive environment for both associates and guests, ensuring high standards of service and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of store management experience in retail or hospitality.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct all activities to achieve store goals including guest service and sales objectives.
  • Recruit, select, and develop associates while holding them accountable for performance.
  • Organize, delegate, prioritize, and follow up on all store activities.
  • Role model company service standards to achieve excellent guest service.
  • Assess associates consistently and provide timely feedback to drive retention.
  • Manage conflict and coach associates using company standards and guidelines.
  • Develop business strategies to maximize store volume and performance.
  • Forecast and analyze business trends to manage payroll expenses effectively.
  • Direct guest service efforts consistent with Altar'd State standards.
  • Ensure attainment of sales, payroll, and inventory shortage goals.
  • Communicate effectively with the executive team and manage store presentation standards.
