About The Position

As a key member of the King Soopers team, you will provide exceptional customer service while supervising and completing all transactions with third-party vendors. Your role will involve monitoring total store conditions to maintain high standards, controlling inventory, and practicing safe food handling guidelines. You will supervise and direct the operation of the night crew and third-party vendors, ensuring that the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety are demonstrated in all aspects of your work.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read a technical manual, retain and comprehend.
• Basic math functions; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Writing skills to complete forms for budgets, inventories, orders, and reports.
• Utilizes good customer service skills.
• Demonstrates ability to read and write.

• Maintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions to capture ordering system integrity.
• Check condition, accuracy of quantity, pricing, and temperature of product received.
• Process damaged/returned goods and complete/process paperwork.
• Assist with markdowns and 5S process.

• Manage Direct Store Delivery (DSD) ad plan, inventory and ad space on sales floor.

• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained.

• Develop and train Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Receiver back up.
• Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associates and vendors.
• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork.
• Train and develop associates on performance of their job.
• Assist in other departments when needed.
• Attend required classes and meetings.
• Prepare for and perform quarterly inventory of department.
• Unload groceries and operate checkout terminal.
• Bag groceries and load into shopping carts as needed.
