About The Position
About this opportunity: Store Helper Receives, sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for display in the store. The applicant will need to be available during business hours.
Requirements
- No formal education or experience is required.
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
- Duties are usually performed standing. Standing may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.
- Moderate physical effort is required, associated with sitting, walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying light to heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.) frequently with a helper.
Responsibilities
- Determines the suitability and pricing of items based on established standards.
- Assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store and sorting room area.
- Helps store customers with donating and selecting store items; responds to customer questions.
