About The Position

The General Store, a locally owned ACE Hardware store in Spokane, WA, is looking for a Store Greeter to join their team. As a Store Greeter, you will play a crucial role in welcoming customers, assisting with product location, and ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment.

Requirements

• High School or GED equivalent required
• No prior experience needed
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25 lbs.), and climbing

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of the store
• Assist customers in problem-solving
• Direct customers to the right shopping locations
• Ensure a friendly and outgoing in-store atmosphere
• Help maintain a professional and safe work environment
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
• Proactively assist customers and provide guidance
• Greet and thank customers entering and exiting the store
• Promote store services like Knife Sharpening
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance and parking area
• Assist with inventory management and loss prevention
• Follow all Loss Prevention policies and procedures
• Stay current on all training goals set by the manager
• Perform other tasks as requested
