About Your Role: As a Store Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at Dollar Tree’s corporate office, you’ll serve as a key support partner for store operations by coordinating maintenance and repair activities across assigned states. You’ll respond to facility-related needs and emergencies, manage work orders, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and with minimal disruption to store operations.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with typing proficiency of at least 34 words per minute
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and email communication, including attachments
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on an as-needed basis

Nice To Haves

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in facilities maintenance, property management, or call center environments

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair issues for stores in assigned states
  • Respond to and manage building emergencies, including fires, floods, power outages, weather-related hazards, and plumbing or spill incidents
  • Assist department leadership with daily facility updates and operational needs as requested
  • Handle routine inquiries related to basic facility needs by fielding incoming phone calls and emails
  • Create, assign, and track work orders for technicians, subcontractors, and service providers
  • Prioritize requests and maintain accurate call history and service records using internal Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Provide status updates and reporting on open and closed work orders, following up as needed with service providers
  • Maintain current and accurate facility data for each store within assigned states
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality service and competitive pricing
  • Monitor repair and maintenance expenditures within assigned spending limits, up to $3,000
  • Review facility-related invoices and facilitate timely approval through the payment process
  • Administer certified business letters or facsimiles to landlords as required
