As the voice of our stores, employees, and clients, we collaborate across functions to design, launch, and train on impactful programs that drive efficiency, elevate the retail environment, and create memorable, differentiated moments for every client. Store Experience As subject matter experts (SMEs), manage programs that support client experiences and drive sales. Our team supports the client experience in our brick-and-mortar store, including loyalty programs, services, sampling, in-store marketing, and promotions. Store Experience Associate Manager A subject matter expert ensures that the organization operates at peak efficiency, minimizes risks, and meets its strategic objectives. They are instrumental in bridging knowledge gaps, driving innovation, and fostering a collaborative and informed operational environment. Responsibilities vary by level, with increasing complexity, leadership, and strategic impact as roles progress. As the Store Experience Associate Manager, you will be the subject matter expert (SME) responsible for executing and analyzing the operations of the overall client experience focused across all Sephora store formats.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in retail operations, project management, or training environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Passionate about creating best-in-class experiences for clients, employees, and brands through innovative programming and continuous optimization.
  • Experienced in navigating matrix organizations and fostering collaborative partnerships.
  • Skilled in managing operational processes and driving efficiencies in the beauty and retail sectors.
  • Committed to aligning program efforts with strategic goals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in key competencies such as Strategic Vision, Agility & Managing Ambiguity, Resilience, Collaborates, Drive Results, Values Unique Differences and Helps Others Grow.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, and preferred experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Box, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Project Management Support the planning, execution, and optimization of critical client experience business programs, new initiatives, and operational policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Sephora to support end-to-end project management, including overarching strategies. Collaborates with cross-functional partners (such as Instructional Designers, Communications, etc.) both in stores
  • Program Management and Enhancements Contributes to key initiatives that drive and impact the client experience in-store, including but not limited to: The Sephora Selling Model, Assist and Apply, Sampling, and in-store Marketing support. Assists with program execution and identifies opportunities for incremental improvements. Develop and maintain operational procedures, processes, and training materials.
  • Decision Support Provides analytical and operational support to inform decisions
  • Communication Communicates effectively within teams, ensuring clarity and consistency Act as a liaison between business groups and retail to ensure procedural updates align with program goals and drive continuous improvement. Manage cross-functional partnerships to ensure alignment and effective communication across teams.
