Results-driven Manager responsible for the ideation, planning, and execution of high-impact events in close collaboration with Marketing, Vendor, Merchant and cross-functional partners. Provides on-site leadership to carry events from concept through execution, ensuring a strong finish through post-event recaps, performance analysis, and actionable insights. Drives sales, conversion, and brand engagement through strategically designed experiences that elevate the customer journey and deliver measurable business outcomes Essential Function Manage, plan and execute all Special Events, beauty, fashion, omni, vendor and other related events, store openings and anniversaries Review post-event business performance and recap essential partners Manage resources including budgets, advertising, social content support, communications/PR, marketing and visual requests Manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously, adapting quickly to changing business needs and store conditions. Vendor event management and relationship Serve as the primary point of contact for all external parties (community partners, freelance resources, etc.) Research and create innovative customer experiences for Belk stores that will drive traffic, conversion and increase sales Produce detailed information on corporate sweepstakes, promotions and other programs with legal support Communicate special event programs to Corporate, store and vendor partners Monitor major retailers across the country that are hosting special events. Update our special events files accordingly to always be able to offer our stores new and event ideas and opportunities Work with merchants on logistics for major events, public appearances and event contests, etc. Work directly with eCommerce to publicize events and promotions Belk.com Propose, manage and maintain seasonal budgets and invoice process on a weekly/monthly basis Support and attend all major events including, but not limited to personal appearances, corporate initiatives, and new store openings, etc. Travel to and assist stores with special events where necessary Coordinate all advertising turn-ins related to Special Events including direct mail, digital, etc. Facilitate public relations and media opportunities as related to Special Events Execute any job-related tasks or special projects as requested by management or as required by business needs All employees are expected to be in compliance with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Poor performance (failure to meet objectives) may result in failure of a major program, initiative or significant organizational goal Ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget; errors or missed deliverables can cause significant delays and increased use of time, resources, and funds. Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate project phases, schedules, and planning discussions.
