About The Position

The position involves maintaining a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, which includes ensuring cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver the Brand Promises. The role requires delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in shopping the store, and helping them find what they're looking for. Responsibilities include collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and mopping floors, moving equipment and products for proper cleaning, and deep cleaning key areas of the store such as bathrooms and breakrooms. The position also involves maintaining cleaning equipment, seeking out areas requiring cleaning, and completing tasks assigned by the supervisor. Additionally, the role may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, engaging customers on the benefits of the Rewards program, assisting with Omni channel processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs.

Requirements

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
• Ability to move throughout the store
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards
• Deliver friendly customer service

• Dust and damp mop floors
• Move equipment and products for proper cleaning
• Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment
• Deep clean key areas of the store
• Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly
• Notify supervisor of supply needs in advance
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor
• Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines
• Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers
• Project a positive image and serve as a role model
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program
• Assist with Omni channel processes
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Support shrink and safety programs
