The Store Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of parts to professional customers, including picking, staging, and delivering parts, as well as handling returns and cores. This role involves promoting sales and loyalty programs by distributing flyers and collecting credit accounts. A key aspect of the position is building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing insights to the company. Drivers are also expected to assist with in-store tasks such as upselling, cross-selling, maintaining store cleanliness, and managing inventory (stocking, back stock, and cycle counts). The role requires knowledge of product inventory to assist customers and engage with walk-in customers to recommend appropriate parts or services. The position demands safe driving, effective communication, organizational skills for parts, and a customer service orientation. It involves physical activities like walking, standing, and lifting, and exposure to various indoor and occasional outdoor work environments, including potential exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and moderate noise.
