About The Position
America’s Thrift Stores is hiring Store Donation Attendants to support our donation programs. This is a hands-on, active role perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying busy, and providing great customer service. Schedule: Part-time (25–30 hours/week), primarily weekends, with some weekday shifts as needed. This is a great opportunity to stay active, work with a purpose, and make an impact in your community.
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Strong customer service and work ethic
- Comfortable with physical, active work (lifting, bending, standing)
- Reliable and able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Greet donors and accept donations at designated sites
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized donation area
- Load/unload items (up to 50 lbs.) safely and efficiently
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Provide a positive donor experience and share our mission
- Track and report daily donation activity
