About The Position

The Store Distribution Leader plans, organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or other ACR locations, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience working with computers, email, and calendar in a professional setting
  • Current and valid Driver License with at least three years of driving experience
  • No more than 3 moving traffic violations in the past 36 months.
  • 1 year (equivalent to at least 12 months in a full time capacity) experience working in a warehouse position
  • 1 year (equivalent to at least 12 months in a full time capacity) experience working in a leadership/management role

Nice To Haves

  • 2 or more years of paid experience working in a warehouse within the HVAC industry
  • 2 or more years working in the HVAC industry
  • 2 or more years experience using inventory or ERP tracking software
  • 2 or more years in a customer service related role providing customer service via through customer facing, phone, and/or internet means.
  • 2 or more years paid experience driving a 25’ft straight truck.
  • 2 or more years forklift experience
  • 3 years experience working in a leadership/management role
  • Clean Driving Record
  • CDL License/certification

Responsibilities

  • Maintains an equipment structure and level to accomplish the warehouse and receiving mission in a safe, effective manner. Provides appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials.
  • Monitors the unloading of all materials into the receiving department; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received. Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Oversees the movement of material to, from, and within the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
  • Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
  • Monitors and measures receiving and warehouse performance for accuracy of locator, receiving reporting, movement, and storage of materials.
  • Oversees and performs all warehouse duties to ensure the successful operation of store shipping, delivery, receiving, and other warehouse duties.
  • Oversee counting of physical inventory.
  • Maintains and communicates non-stock inventory reports
  • Oversee weighing processing packaging and shipping of refrigerant recovery cylinders and or cylinder deposits.
  • Pull store inventory stock transfers/special orders/will call
  • Manage customer delivery, pickup and truck schedule
  • Manage truck maintenance and delivery log
  • Manage and execute third party shipping, UPS, LTL, Direct Link
  • Check in UPS, FedEx, LTL, Direct Link shipments
  • Capture and communicate incoming freight cost to sales team
  • Oversee FACTS receiving process
  • Store to store inventory (transfers and count checks)
  • Oversee receiving errors and discrepancies
  • Verifies that customers are called when special orders arrive
