Position Summary: The Store Clerk is responsible for attending to the customer needs in the areas of food prep and sales, gas sales, inventory, stock and overall customer service. This role will serve both as cashier and gas pump attendant as required. Our store is open 24/7 and our store clerks are expected to be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
• Must be able to understand and consistently deliver brand standards
• Must possess effective oral and written skills and be able to communicate clearly in English
• Must have intermediate computer knowledge
• Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
• Must possess strong customer service skills with a willingness to take on multiple tasks
• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous casino Gas Station and Convenience Store experience preferred
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Proven track record of accurate cashier transactions completed preferred
• Experience in a high-volume retail/food store environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in the areas of food prep and service, gas pump management, inventory management, cleaning, and overall store function
• Accurate processing of point-of-sale transactions
• Maintain a sharp focus on delivering excellent customer service and addressing customer concerns
• Comply with all laws, rules, regulations, and company policies
• Maintain site appearance standards
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
• Performs other duties as assigned
