About The Position

Store Clerk I ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operating a computer with specialized ordering program, orders all expendable supplies as directed by the Dining Facility Manager, or the Project Manager. Manually stock facility(ies) and ensure that supply levels meet the site operational needs on a daily basis. Observe and/or recognize in advance adequate inventory of all supplies and equipment. In some cases, may manually or by using computer assigns an inventory number “label/tag” to all equipment. Exchange or remove non-operational equipment for operational equipment. Recommend ordering new equipment, as needed, to the Project Manager. Ensure that all tasks are conducted in accordance with the contract SOP.

Requirements

  • Follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
  • High School graduate, or GED required.
  • Must have solid work ethics.
  • Good reading and writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills.
  • 6 months – 1year previous work experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., phone)
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private) Must have the legal right to work in the United States
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including background investigation, if applicable.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write accurate
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, employees and client representatives.
  • Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying: •One year of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities.
  • Interact with and manage (as required) the workforce in a fair and consistent manner.

  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Stands and moves within assigned work area for 6 to 7 hours (excluding break and lunch periods)
