About The Position

The Cheese Store clerk assists with the daily operations of our cheese store. Responsibilities include slicing and packaging cheese, maintaining inventory, restocking, and handling transactions. Excellent customer service skills and basic food safety knowledge are essential.

Requirements

• Prior retail or food service experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as required.
• Must be able to verbally communicate, understand and write in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, orders and complaints.
• Maintain proper stock levels and inventory control.
• Ensure all cheeses/products are properly labeled, priced and displayed.
• Monitor product expiration dates and rotate stock accordingly.
• Operate the cash register, process payments.
• Restock shelves and displays as needed
