About The Position

The Store/Night Clerk is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, and assisting the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals. This role also involves monitoring quality assurance standards, embracing the Customer 1st strategy, and demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska.
