About The Position

The Store Associate at Bricks & Minifigs is responsible for creating a friendly and professional atmosphere while assisting customers of all ages. This role involves greeting customers, managing the point-of-sale system, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. The associate will also engage in various store duties, including sorting LEGO, organizing products, and supporting in-store events.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written English communication
• Ability to be welcoming and approachable
• Highly organized with good quantitative ability and high degree of accuracy
• Intermediate LEGO building skills
• Rapidly learn about a variety of goods and systems

• Understand and follow policies, processes and ethical requirements

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience in customer service

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers in person and on the phone (requires a lot of standing)
• Checking customers out on the point-of-sale system
• Sorting and cleaning bulk LEGO
• Building and repairing used sets
• Organizing and stocking products (requires lifting up to 50 pounds)
• Sharing in cleaning responsibilities (e.g. vacuuming, restroom cleaning, dusting)
• Supporting hosted and un-hosted in-store party events
• Supporting management with creative ideas, social media, and shared customer feedback
• Sharing in other general retail activities as needed (e.g. annual stock count, special events)
