About the position

The Retail Store Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store while delivering exceptional customer service. This position involves various tasks such as restocking shelves, assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean store environment. The associate will interact with a diverse customer base, contributing to sales and fostering a sense of community.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintaining proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions such as stocking, cleaning, and rotating products within the store.
• Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in the department's cases, prep area, floors, and coolers.
• Minimizing shrink by resolving all price discrepancies immediately.
• Treating and maintaining all equipment properly.
• Following all food safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Assisting workers in other departments as needed.
• Collaborating with other departments for storewide sales promotions.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Some experience in a retail store preferred.
• Ability to provide courteous and friendly customer service.
• Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines/locations.
• Accurate vision and ability to read.
