THE DIFFERENCE YOU WILL MAKE The Store Associate participates in the daily operation of the store including sales and customer service, delivery, inventory – pulling orders, stocking and replenishment, shipping, and others in support of the overall growth and maintenance of the store. This is a fun position that enables you to work with our products as well as interact with customers on different levels. It is a position that enables future growth within the organization.

Requirements

  • Possess a High School diploma or a comparable certification (e.g. GED); some college or degree preferred
  • Ability to retrieve products from shelves, warehouse and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 75 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to operate company equipment
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to use material handling equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures, and actively embody our core values in every interaction and responsibility. (Include in all JD’s)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop and climb repetitiously throughout the day

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience using RF scanners, and an ERP system is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales efforts by selling products and providing customer service daily
  • Stock shelves, clean store equipment, load/ unload delivery trucks, and rotate all incoming stock
  • Utilize RF scanner and other methods to log incoming materials and products
  • Ensure sales transactions are completed accurately and maintain precise work order files
  • Maintain the warehouse space by ensuring it is clean, neat, orderly and above all else safe
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and logging their orders
  • Fill customer orders and make certain that the orders are ready for pick-up or delivery at customers requested time
  • Load customer vehicles and outgoing delivery trucks
  • Maneuvering in a safe and effective manner
  • Follow all Millcraft policies, procedures, and guidelines as outlined in the employee handbook and departmental SOPs
  • Ensure a safe working environment by strictly following all safety protocols and standards including reporting unsafe conditions, near-misses and incidents immediately to your manager
  • Demonstrate the Millcraft Core Values (Family, Responsible, Passion, Deliver, Aspire and FUN) in day-to-day work and interactions
  • Other duties as needed for the business.
