This role involves a variety of tasks, including restocking shelves, slicing deli meat, receiving products, assisting customers with inquiries, and processing transactions. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting store environment, which is crucial for customer satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintaining proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions such as stocking, cleaning, and rotating products within the store.
• Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in the department's cases, prep area, floors, and coolers.
• Minimizing shrink by ensuring all price discrepancies are resolved immediately.
• Ensuring all equipment is treated and maintained properly.
• Following all food safety and sanitation procedures including process, preparation, and packaging of food in accordance with company policies and all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Assisting workers in other departments when the needs of the business require.
• Collaborating with other departments when inter-departmental or storewide sales promotions warrant.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Some experience in a retail store preferred.
• Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines and locations.
• Ability to provide courteous and friendly customer service.
• Ability to read and understand product labels and instructions.
