Store Associate FT Job Purpose This role is responsible for driving customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Focusing on creating a positive and engaging shopping experience for all customers by ensuring products are stocked and organized and areas are clean and inviting. By providing courteous, prompt service and supporting store initiatives, this role helps foster a friendly, welcoming, and Winning shopping experience.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills required to participate in online training.
  • Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations

Responsibilities

  • Provides continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist, and thank customers with a friendly smile.
  • Actively promotes store initiatives and promotions to increase customer engagement and sales creating a Winning Shopping experience.
  • Stocks and rotates department products (Dairy, Frozen, Grocery, and Front End) to ensure freshness and date control; restocks and uses supply items efficiently to eliminate waste.
  • Operates department equipment and tools.
  • Keeps work areas clean, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness, organization, and safety is maintained , and reports faulty equipment and hazards to management.
  • Notifies management of team member theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark-downs, property defacement, or any action that is illegal and/or against company policy.
  • Works collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals and improve store performance.
  • Follows company policies and procedures regarding product handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
