About the position

Batteries Plus Bulbs is seeking motivated Trusted Advisors who enjoy working with people and solving problems. Customer service is our business, and we aim to exceed our customers' expectations by listening, asking questions, researching, and then offering a solution. Advisors will work with smartphones, batteries, bulbs, and other products that need to be tested and repaired. Daily responsibilities include answering phones, inventory control, and general store operations. On-the-job training is provided for those with little to no experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail and commercial customers in the purchase of batteries, light bulbs, and other products.
• Replace batteries in vehicles, watches, key fobs, cell phones, and more.
• Maintain proper inventory by stocking and facing shelves.
• Add on and upsell products.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
• Repair cell phones, tablets, and other devices as needed.
• Receive, pack, and ship devices.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong customer service focus; ability to inform, teach, and train.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in retail sales or device repair.
• High level of computer aptitude.
• Being tech-savvy.
