Responsibilities
- Be readily available to assist and support incoming customers, providing a high level of customer service with a goal of 0 customer complaints.
- Engage customers with excellent customer service to make them feel welcome and comfortable in store.
- Contribute to sales and inventory goal attainment through promotion of products and excellent customer service.
- Assist in outbound customer communications by conducting outbound calls, sending or emailing thank you notes, and inviting customers to company held events.
- Maintain current knowledge of products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
- Assemble and disassemble Merchandise and Promotional Displays in a timely manner at the beginning and end of promotional periods.
- Manage and maintain stock in store.
- Maintain a clean and presentable environment for customers.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated in a clear, concise, accurate, timely and professional manner.
- Ability to follow instructions with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable with the use of computers.
- Comfortable working with numbers, able to apply basic mathematical concepts.
- Stand and/or sit continuously to perform job functions for a full shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- At least 1 year Retail Sales experience preferred.
