About The Position

The Omega Store is a retail center for participants, faculty, staff and visitors. The Omega Store stocks pertinent books to the Omega culture, as well as books written by, and recommended by faculty; music; clothing, jewelry, greeting cards and artifacts important to the Omega culture.

Requirements

  • Ability to use computerized cash register and store software quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently once trained.
  • Ability to create space/merchandising skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Timely, reliable, and service oriented individual.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Alignment with Omega’s mission, goals, and core values.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain store cleanliness and other routine tasks including once a week deep cleaning.
  • Provide sales and customer service to participants, faculty, staff and the public.
  • Ring up sales on computerized cash register and accept payments.
  • Process the daily cash out.
  • Label, tag and otherwise check in items received by Manager and Receiving Supervisor.
  • Check in book orders against invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
