Our golden rule: “The customer is the most important person in all our stores.” Job Title: Store Analyst/Bookkeeping Position Location: Martin & Bayley, Inc. Carmi, IL Reports To: Controller Department: Accounting GENERAL · Store Analysts/Bookkeeping are stores and District managers' go-to for issues with (paperwork, invoices, etc.) · Each analyst has 2-4 districts (20-25 stores) that they fully audit all paperwork for and are responsible for servicing.
Requirements
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be very detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Audit all areas of store paperwork including but not limited to
- Verifying Deposits
- Reconciliation of smart safes
- Analyzing any variances related to cash
- Research Lottery variances
- Communicate with Upper management and Operations team to keep them informed and aware of any variances
- Perform weekly reconciliation of all payment types including delivery services such as Door dash and fuel discount programs such as Mudflap.
