Job Description: Lead the organization driving strategy and architecture for Compute Server Storage Architecture. Deliver the Server Storage Architecture strategy for Future HPE Compute servers: Identify the likely Storage (HDD and SSD) technologies to be offered with Compute servers. Recommend the types and quantities of Storage Options that customers will need to support their workloads. Influence form factors, chassis size, interfaces supported, device form factors supported, numbers of lanes, thermals/power, and manageability support. Strive for best solutions that achieve support for the likely Options portfolio, balancing flexibility and cost. Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads and participates in large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower and higher-level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives.
