About The Position

The IBM Storage Solutions Engineering Team is focused on engaging with strategic ISV and OEM vendors to align solutions roadmaps and go-to-market strategies. The team collaborates with the entire IBM Storage portfolio, product managers, engineers, and technologists, aiming to drive measurable business for the Storage product team through joint in-market solutions. The team consists of technology and business professionals dedicated to delivering impactful customer solutions based on current and future IBM Storage assets, influencing product roadmaps, and promoting offerings to partners and clients globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Marketing Engineer, or Technical Sales Engineer.
• Demonstrated ability to perform typical assignments and achieve primary goals.
• Discipline in program management and delivering on objectives.
• Openness and honesty in communication and execution.
• Ability to face and overcome technical and business challenges.
• Desire to learn new technologies and understand customer workloads.
• Bias for action and results-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with enterprise storage, hyperconverged infrastructure, virtualization, AI/ML, data protection, databases, server infrastructure, and public cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, build, integrate, and test differentiated workload-based solutions based on the IBM Storage portfolio and third-party technology.
• Define clear requirements for the IBM Storage portfolio based on industry trends and partner strategies.
• Educate the market on the importance of IBM Storage for business workloads.
• Provide education to customers and sales through various formats such as blogs, white papers, and trade shows.
• Drive client success stories and joint marketing opportunities with technology partners.
• Foster a trusted advisor relationship with customers regarding strategic storage solutions.
• Enable cross-selling of jointly developed storage solutions.
