Job Description: Job Family Definition: Provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company’s products. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies. Work can involve external parties such as standards bodies, partners, etc. Management Level Definition: Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Requirements

  • Experience with security and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Experience managing programs that cross organizational boundaries
  • Extensive experience with using Smartsheet and other program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track program results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing very large matrixed teams and resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • 6-10 years experience.in Program Management
  • Smartsheet experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of EU CRA, SBOMs, and HPE’s engineering and regulatory systems (e.g VTN, STAR, OSRB, Compliance360) is a plus.
  • PMP/PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the European Union Cyber Resilience Act (EU CRA) program for the Storage Business.
  • The EU CRA program involves interfacing with multiple functions and product/project teams both within Storage and the greater HPE Product Security Office (PSO).
  • This role will oversee the multiple activities required to meet the EU CRA regulatory requirements, across all Storage product families, within the designated timeframe.
  • Responsible for creating schedules, ensuring alignment and the successful execution of critical deliverables within schedule timeframes.
  • Responsible for managing program budget, resource allocation plan, and other supporting requirements for delivery of the program objectives.
  • Manage the activities of the project teams, internal and external partners to ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet program requirements and schedule.
  • Communicate program progress, drive escalations, and provide program analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with management and internal PSO workstreams to recommend and implement changes to schedule, processes, or business plans to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, ensure adherence to budgets and established program roadmaps and schedules
  • Drive innovation and the integration of new technologies and initiatives into the program and activities to gain efficiencies and produce results.
  • Will lead and provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
