Storage Engineer - Secret
About The Position
Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLC’s diverse academic community. The individual in this role will be a part of the data center support group, tasked with configuring SAN/NAS systems, managing backup solutions, and maintaining the security of the data center. This position includes monitoring and providing daily support to ensure the health and availability of IT systems and infrastructure, both on-premises and for cloud-based programs and applications. Responsibilities will involve planning, installation, and maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and managing all Storage Engineer servers and applications. The role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing an organization's data storage systems, working with networks, databases, and other high-capacity systems. The duties will include planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all Storage Engineer servers and applications.
Requirements
- Must have experience with SAN technologies in a highly virtualized and converged environment and maintaining a high availability datacenter.
- Relevant skills include VMWare Vsphere, Linux Red Hat, Windows Server, SQL, MySQL, EMC SAN technologies and applications, and Active Directory.
- BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5+ years
- AA/AS degree with 7+ year’s experience
- 9+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
- IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) certification and applicable CE/OS Certification.
