About The Position

To use gained experience to increase storage revenue for the Wetzel and Sons operation. To better assist the local client managers with general questions, availability of areas and sell rates. This should be achieved by working with sales and warehouse receiving to attempt to better control recording size details on receipt and aiming to include on WASP. Additionally, periodic inventory checks in all warehouse storage areas should be conducted to better assess existing and incoming storage and to verify accuracy of inventories when asked. Inventory checking and storage audit should be priority.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
Thorough knowledge of the industry
Ability to work well under pressure, to cost and time constraints
Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to build and grow connections with people of all types and backgrounds
Efficiently coordinate storage accounts with other departments
Excellent problem- solving, able to use intuition to resolve any issues and complaints from the client.
Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multifaceted work environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal computer systems – Moveware / WASP (training will be provided)
Excellent email etiquette and a good telephone manner that is polite and courteous at all times
Demonstrates good communication skills both written and spoken
Has excellent time management and organizational skills – able to multi-task as required
Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment
Comfortable in a result-driven workplace

Responsibilities

Perform periodic inventory checks on loose racking locations to ensue all goods captured
Perform periodic inventory checks on private client vaults and other areas for accuracy with internal system
Coordinate with Warehouse Management team and engage in weekly operations meeting relating to client storage and general day to day tasks with scope of position
Manage the whole client experience relating to storage including collections, property movement etc. and ensuring client satisfaction and expectations are exceeded
Work with warehouse and assisting staff to allocate storage space for entering property
Report any discrepancies, damage, and/or missing items to Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Account Manager when necessary
Ensure that all space with storage areas are being utilized and properly billed in both WASP and Moveware
Work with staff to prepare storage accounts for viewing for the client when and where required
Manage and establish rental costs for entering property
Monitor and document released property from online database
Ensure all rental properties are properly released and final charges are accurately calculated
Notify of outstanding storage charges prior to property releases
Ensure all storage aspects of Wetzel’s client requirements are adhered to, particular to service specifications
Ability to manage small and large projects from quote stage to billing completion when asked
Maintain files in accordance with the company protocols and procedures
Ensure that all accounts are maintained to the highest level, running the storage department as a cost efficiently as able without damaging customer satisfaction
Use all resources available to ensure the highest customer satisfaction
Adhere to local regulations and legislation
Forward planning of all operational requirements to ensure all needed invoicing/billing is completed
Liaising with the operational departments regarding collections, deliveries and packing requirements ensuring the client’s expectations are met
Ensuring the department calls are handled in a prompt and professional manner
Assisting your line manager, General Manager and Director when required
Ensure ahigh degree of detail and focus on every job
Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures, and all other company policies and procedures in place
Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
To always act in the best interest of Cadogan Tate, its customers and its employees
Prepare and distribute monthly Storage Utilization Reports to Management (Detailing available spaces, occupancy rate, and projected capacity. (Reports sent to General Manager and Operations Manager)
Generate monthly Storage Billing Reports ensuring all client accounts are accurately charged and up to date. (Reports sent to Finance Controller)
Communicate weekly with Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager on inbound and outbound shipments. (Pipeline report)
Assist other department as need per Manager request
