The Store Manager is the first-line representative to the William Warren Properties customers. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of single or multiple site locations. The position works under the direction of the District Manager. The Store Manager provides services for single or sometimes multiple locations within a District.

  • Achieves sales objectives and builds revenues through maximizing conversion of telephone and walk-in inquiries into rentals.
  • Promotes the William Warren Properties in the community.
  • Recommends and implements marketing strategies based on competitor information.
  • Maintains appropriate financial controls and achieves financial goals by accurately managing cash and balancing receipts.
  • Pursues collections, posts payments, and processes daily bank deposits accurately and timely.
  • Operates within prescribed budgets.
  • Follows up on delinquent accounts.
  • Approves and forwards all invoices as required.
  • Practices effective customer service techniques through answering phones in a friendly, pleasant, and professional manner.
  • Greets customers promptly, enthusiastically, and professionally.
  • Knows and presents the features and benefits of the property at all opportunities.
  • Resolves customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintains timely and accurate administrative processes throughout all job duties.
  • Maintains accurate records for each customer including contracts, insurance and change of address forms, addendums, and any correspondence to or from customers.
  • Effectively utilizes computer systems in the Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Maintains accurate merchandise inventory.
  • Keeps auction files updated and accurate; knows the state’s auction lien laws.
  • Compiles required and assigned reports and projects correctly and timely.
  • Consults the Policy & Procedures manual on a regular basis for answers, clarification, and consistency.
  • Effectively directs Storage Consultants and maintenance workers to assist with successful running of the facility and accomplishment of duties.
  • Monitors security system and resolves security problems; performs lock checks on a daily basis.
  • Regularly audits the physical conditions of a facility; performs minor maintenance in accordance with WWP’s maintenance standards.
  • Ensures that company standards of cleanliness and appearance are met or exceeded.
  • Assists customers with truck rentals at some locations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned; works with minimum supervision; operates effectively on a team.
  • Preferred 2+ years in Customer Service/Sales.
  • Experience in Cash Handling is required.
  • Must be available on weekends.
  • A huge passion for guest service and sales.
  • The ability to be a part of a team to help support and motivate as needed.
  • A positive, outgoing personality.
  • An insatiable appetite to learn new things.
  • Strong accountability combined with strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork.
  • Experience working in the retail or service industry.
  • Tech Savvy is a plus.
  • $24.00 - $26.00 per hour + Competitive Bonus Potential.
