About The Position

Summary/Objective

This position works within the fabrication, inventory and material handling areas of the department
Essential Functions
• Will work on fabrication of stone, quartz or solid surface materials, depending upon business requirements
• Responsible for sanding solid surface pieces with electric and air polishing tools as assigned
• Loading and unloading of granite, marble, solid surfaces and quartz slabs with the use of forklifts and forklift
attachments– adequate training will be provided
• Ensure the proper maintenance of production equipment on a regular basis; filters, dust collectors, oiling of
machinery, or other types of devices as assigned
• Maintain a well-organized, clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of initiatives

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to multi-task and working within specified timeframes
• Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment
• Current Fork Life Certification required
• Ability to problem-solve

Nice To Haves

• Prior stone or solid surfaces fabrication experience preferred
