About The Position

The Fabricator/Polisher is responsible for thoroughly inspecting and polishing countertop edges and decks to ensure the highest quality finish. This individual must be detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Proficient use of a standard tape measure to the 1/16th.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Capability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings with management or other employees.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Capability to address problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately.
Polish edges and splashes using provided pneumatic hand tools.
Adhere to all safety protocols established by Classic Rock Fabrication.
Meet CRF quality standards consistently throughout the Fabrication Department.
Report any quality issues promptly to the Operations Manager.
Ensure on-time completion of projects within the Fabrication Department.
Properly care for and handle products throughout the fabrication process.
Participate in product repairs and custom fabrication as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
Follow all company policies and procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the company’s vision and mission.
