About The Position

The Stockroom Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily stockroom operations, leading pre-shift meetings, managing workflow, and supporting cross-department coordination. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership experience, and the ability to work hands-on within the department.

Requirements

• Prior team leader or supervisory experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively with other departments
• Ability to prioritize and manage workflow efficiently
• Ability to stand for 10 hours shifts.
• Ability to use both hands repetitively.
• Ability to move/push/pull and carry up to 45 lbs. consistently.
• Ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

• Prior sewing or embroidery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead daily pre-shift meetings to determine workflow and priorities
• Crosstrain and provide coverage in all areas of the stockroom department
• Create emblems and match daily work orders
• Organize and fill sample fitting requests for the sales team as needed
• Order garments and supplies daily
• Travel to customer locations to assist with uniform fittings as needed
• Coordinate with the Production Manager regarding staffing needs in both uniform production and stockroom areas
• Manage customer inventories using Alliant (Plymate’s CRM software)
