About The Position

Responsible for performing a variety of duties related to stockroom operations. Must be able to keep clear, accurate records & work with minimum supervision in an office setting. Must be able to recognize problems & take appropriate corrective actions; be an individual contributor to the stockroom operations; be directly responsible for material management. This position requires prolonged standing and walking (7 to 8 hrs. per day). Duties could occasionally be performed on nights or weekends.

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow instructions and use simple mathematics
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail towards material needs for production
• Ability to operate a personal computer and other electronic devices
• Experience working in an office environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must conform to special dress requirements which include wearing no cosmetics
• Good dexterity and ability to use the hands for handling the product
• Ability to prioritize daily assignment
• Occasional heavy lifting of parts up to 50 lbs.
• Team player with a collaborative approach to problem solving
• Inventory management experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office – especially Excel
• Proficient typing skills – including data entry
• High School Graduate or Equivalent G.E.D.

Nice To Haves

• Pallet jack and forklift experience helpful, but not required
