About The Position

Job Summary: The Stockroom Clerk receives materials, validates item with proper documentation for identification and quantity and stocks incoming materials in designated stockroom areas. The Stockroom Clerk will be responsible pulling kits in order of required assembly start date (ASD) for the shop floor and completing all transactions in Visual ERP. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining organization in the stockroom and cycle counts on a scheduled basis. Must be comfortable with numbers and counting to ensure the inventory is accurate. Essential Functions: Receives parts into stock after inspection by Quality. Examines and counts parts accurately and stores them in their proper location. Ensures that Green Stock Cards (with traceability) accompany the parts. Inputs parts data into Inventory Control System. Protects parts by following good storage procedures. Audits contents of kits and stock. Maintains age-sensitive materials in stock. Pulls and issue materials from stock; prepares stock kits for production departments Promotes good housekeeping, company values, policies and standards of conduct. Qualifications/Minimum requirements: High School Diploma, GED or relevant vocational training preferred. U.S. Citizenship Required. Ability to read, write, and speak in English proficiently. 3-5 years of stockroom/materials experience preferred. Knowledge of Visual ERP system preferred. Basic understanding of computers and barcode scanning preferred. One-year experience in a manufacturing environment, military/aerospace preferred. Able to stand, walk, bend and lift 25 lbs. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Experience operating forklifts, skids, pallet handlers, and hand trucks preferred. General Physical Requirements: Lifting, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, pushing and pulling are generally required to perform the functions of this position on a regular basis.
