About The Position

Temp Staff Management Group is seeking a Stockroom Associate for our client in Wayne, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position. Schedule: 2nd Shift: 3PM – 1AM Plus Overtime Pay Rate: $17.13 / hour Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Stockroom Associate to join our team. The Stockroom Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, and managing inventory in the stockroom to ensure smooth store operations. This role supports the sales floor by ensuring products are well-stocked and easily accessible.

Requirements

• MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail or warehouse preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
• Organize stockroom inventory and maintain a clean, efficient work environment.
• Label, tag, and store items in the appropriate locations.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Replenish sales floor with merchandise from the stockroom as needed.
• Assist with inventory audits and loss prevention efforts.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all merchandise.
• Follow company safety and operational procedures.
• Communicate with store team members to meet inventory needs.
