About The Position
As a Stocking Team Trainer at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and organized. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the stocking associates who are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. This position requires you to spend a significant amount of time in the backroom, where you will manage the flow of merchandise and ensure that products are readily available for customers. You will be responsible for training new associates on best practices for stocking and unloading, as well as ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times. In this role, you will need to be physically fit, as you will be required to lift heavy objects that exceed 50 pounds. Additionally, you may need to operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts, which requires proper training and certification. Your ability to lead a team and communicate effectively will be essential in maintaining a productive work environment. You will also be expected to monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining the organization of the backroom and sales floor.
