The Stockhandler II Learner position involves ordering, receiving, recording, storing, prepackaging, issuing, and maintaining adequate stock of material, equipment, and supplies in the substation maintenance storeroom. The employee may also deliver materials to field locations and prepare materials for specific jobs. Additional responsibilities include assisting with environmental issues, maintaining shop and yard cleanliness, performing weekly material inventories, and other duties as assigned. Normal working hours for this position will be from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise assigned. The individual filling this position will be expected to work a reasonable amount of overtime and will have storm restoration and emergency assignments. Responding to emergency situations to meet customers' needs is part of every employee's role, and if employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment, meaning you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours, and location.
