You'll work alongside other dedicated individuals in a fast-paced warehouse environment that inspires you to grow your skills and advance your career. The Stock Handler (Stocker) will cut and prep all merchandise for the Order Selector. As a stocker, you will: Stock cases of merchandise onto shelves for order selectors. Read merchandise orders from a RF unit which will include: item locations, descriptions, and quantity needed. Select and prepare (cut box tops and plastic from inner packaging) needed cases of product and place in a designated location. Move boxes of merchandise (up to 30-50 pounds) using safe lifting techniques. Monitors day-to-day warehouse activities and operation flows, escalating any exceptions or safety concerns to immediate supervisors for swift resolution. Maintains consistent cleanliness of all work zones at the end of each shift to effectively adhere to departmental quality standards. Works to maintain a safe working environment by consistently following safety guidelines and adhering to warehouse safety standards and requirements. Performs general housekeeping duties to ensure working areas and aisles are clear of debris, to maximize safety standards and assist in reducing accidents. Cross train in other warehouse tasks when needed.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
  • Physical requirements include constantly standing, bending, reaching and climbing stairs.
  • Must be certified on all equipment needed to complete job task.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Previous warehouse experience.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
