About The Position

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for operating appropriate Forklift/Reach-lift (powered industrial truck) material movement, including but not limited to, receiving, staging, put away, replenishment of products, and other material moves; also responsible for manually moving product as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the function of the Lift Operator/Put AWAY, may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job description.

All personnel within this job description shall be subject to cross-training into jobs within the organization based on Company needs.

Requirements

• The employee must also be certified in forklift operations.
• The employee must regularly lift 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for movement of all materials in the warehouse through operation of assigned equipment
• Responsible for using Radio Frequency terminal to record the movement of materials for inventory control purposes in accordance with the Radio Frequency Program guidelines for Put-a-ways, Moves, replenishment, and operations
• Responsible for routine maintenance on forklift equipment, i.e., changing lift batteries
• Responsible for safe movement of product, safety of pedestrian employees and company/warehouse property
• Reports to work on time, as directed by the Warehouse Shift Supervisor, and completes all duties in a timely manner
• Performs above listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information effectively and communicating the information as needed effectively
