Right now, our SOUTH TACOMA (38TH ST), WA store is seeking a Part Time Stocker Merchandiser! Hourly Rate: $16.66 per hour Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining shelf stock and department level merchandising.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
- 1 -- 3 months of related experience and/or training
- Attends every scheduled shift
- Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
- Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Stocker Merchandiser.
- Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Placing merchandise on the sales floor and set up displays
- Cultivates a well-merchandised/displayed store
- Stocks store with merchandise as directed by store management
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to a variety of customers.
- Rotates product on display based on the store's rotation schedule, including holiday merchandise.
- Maintains a safe working/shopping environment for customers and employees.
