About The Position

The Stocker - Produce position at Restaurant Depot involves providing excellent customer service while managing the stocking and organization of produce items in the warehouse. Requirements

• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Experience in stocking and organizing products in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to lift/carry objects more than 60 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull objects weighing between 500 to 1,500 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk on concrete for up to 10 hours a day.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating forklifts or electric pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.
• Organizes and front faces items on shelves.
• Performs proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing.
• Follows a program to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse by a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath.
• Continuously reviews the status of department floors for safety hazards.
• Promptly and safely handles any spills and removes any trash from the floor and discards it appropriately.
• Works with Hi-Lo operators to ensure that the selling floor remains stocked and safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves.
• Promptly informs supervisors of any low stock/out of stock merchandise.
