About The Position

The Stock Room Coordinator serves every member of the Retail team and their guests and is responsible for consistently providing outstanding guest service which includes smiling, making eye contact, using a guest's name, anticipating the guest's needs, and offering further service. This position involves transporting merchandise from the main loading dock to retail receiving, receiving merchandise, placing received merchandise in the correct retail stockroom, transporting received merchandise to retail outlets, removing trash and recycling from retail receiving, maintaining a clean and well-organized Retail Receiving area, assisting with retail physical inventories as requested by retail management, and performing other tasks as requested by members of the retail team. This is a Monday through Friday position and must be available to work from 9 AM until 5 PM, including holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a retail or receiving role preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Physically able to lift and move heavy merchandise
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise deliveries at the main loading dock and transport them to the retail receiving area
• Efficiently stock received merchandise in the appropriate retail stockroom
• Transport merchandise to designated retail outlets within the store
• Manage the disposal of trash and recycling from the retail receiving area
• Collaborate with retail management to conduct physical inventories as needed
• Assist in other duties as assigned by members of the retail team
