About The Position

Premier Florida based Fishing Boat manufacturer is seeking a Stock Room Clerk to join their team. The role involves providing support and clerical duties for the manufacturing stockroom and raw/purchased materials and parts control, in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
• At least three years related stockroom clerk experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or more

Responsibilities

• Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using computer, identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
• Conduct physical inventory, verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Projects for other departments and various material control functions as needed.
