About The Position

The Stock Room Clerk I is responsible for maintaining the organization of the stock room and performing daily operational duties. This role involves assisting the Stockroom & Inventory Clerk with tasks such as receiving and retrieving orders, cycle counting, and ensuring accurate inventory records. The position is based in Accident, MD, and reports to the Purchasing & Shipping Manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of Stockroom Clerk experience or equivalent.
• Experience or exposure to shipping & receiving practices.
• Moderate understanding of the general aspects of the job.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of general stock room, warehouse, inventory type work experience.

Responsibilities

• Locates requested stock and maintains records for usage.
• Ensures incoming deliveries are accurate and stocks supply room with new supplies.
• Takes inventory and reports reorder needs.
• Picks jobs from a picklist.
• Verifies order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms for accuracy.
• Reports damages or discrepancies following applicable procedures.
• Delivers items to their destination.
• Performs data entry.
