Requirements

• Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision and also as part of a team.
• Keen attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• An interest in science and/or basic knowledge of the periodic table.
• Prior experience in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic lab assistance to the Quality Control department and other areas as assigned
• Uses established procedures to: Perform basic maintenance on analytical instruments
• Clean glassware/flasks - Prepare reagent and cleaning acids
• Refill consumable supplies
• Organize MEB retains
• Check in of documentation (“Golds”) from MFG
• Maintain inventory of instrument parts and NISTs
• Organizing/purging old materials as necessary
• Miscellaneous support duties are to include: Clerical duties organizing CoAs and SDS
• General cleaning
• Other duties as assigned
• Adheres to established safety rules/guidelines
• Wears appropriate personal protective equipment
• Properly disposal of waste material
• Other duties as assigned
